Master Li Tinghuai

Master Li TinghuaiLi Tinghuai, male, ethnic Han, Member of the Chinese Communist Party, born in December 1952, native of Ruzhou, Henan Province. He started his career in 1975 and founded the Ruzhou Hengtong Research Institute in 2004, which was later restructured as the Ruzhou Tinghuai Ru Porcelain Research Institute. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zhongru Tinghuai Cultural Technology Co., Ltd, Representative of the Tenth Congress of the Communist Party of China in Henan Province, Master of Porcelain Design Arts in China, Representative Inheritor of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Project of Ru Porcelain Firing Technique, Senior Arts and Crafts Master, Expert with Outstanding Contribution in China, Expert Enjoying Special Allowance of the State Council, Visiting Professor of Art of Henan University, Part-time Professor of Henan University of Urban Construction, Part-time Professor of Luoyang Normal College, Part-time Professor of Pingdingshan College, and once served as Member of the Seventh Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference of Pingdingshan. Over the past 47 years dedicated to the study and production of Ru Porcelain, he has created over 2,200 varieties of artworks combining ancient and modern aesthetic concepts, published nine academic theses and a monograph titled New Theory of Ru Porcelain. He has two major inventions, namely, Jade Celadon Glaze White Porcelain and Active Porcelain. 

Li Tinghuai's personal works have been presented eight times as diplomatic gifts for major foreign affairs activities of the Communist Party and the state, especially the Jade Celadon Glaze "Loong Head Cup" was selected as the cup for the 2015 Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit in Zhengzhou and presented to dignitaries as the national gift. In July 2021, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the People's Republic of China and the Republic of Cuba, the "Harmonious Chinese Vase", a representative work of Tinghuai Kiln, was presented to the Cuban Embassy in Beijing as a diplomatic gift; In July 2021, he created the "Dual Olympic Porcelain" - "Winter Olympics - Peace Vessel" for the centennial history of the Olympic Games. September 2021, the Fortieth Anniversary of the Friendship Between Henan Province and Kansas State, USA. As a national gift, the Ru Porcelain "Vase of Beauty" designed and produced by Li Tinghuai, was highly welcomed and praised by the representatives of the United States.
