The 41st World Expo was held in Shanghai from May 1 to October 31, 2010. It is the first World Expo held by China. Master Li Tinghuai's five handmade works "Harmonious Chinese Bottle", "Chinese Dragon Zun", "Pearl Bottle", "Straight Mouth Bottle" and "Haibao" were presented to foreign leaders as national gifts.
The "Harmonious China Bottle" is the gold medal work of the 2010 Shanghai World Expo. Its creation inspiration comes from the "building a harmonious society" proposed by the Central Committee at that time, and the "harmony" bottle derived from the homophonic "lotus crab" of lotus and crab. The lotus grows out of mud without dyeing. Scholars often sing praises of the style of gentlemen. This work is composed of four units: lotus leaf, lotus flower, crab and water. It looks like a bud of Ru porcelain vase. The homophonic sounds of lotus, crab and bottle are used to convey feelings by scenery, implying the cultural connotation of a harmonious and prosperous Chinese nation, peace and upwardness, and the supreme good like water. The whole shape is the city flower of Shanghai, the white magnolia, which has been popular since ancient times. The work is crystal clear and gentle, just right. Noble and elegant, extremely amazing and generous.
Zhonghua Dragon Zun. Zhonghua Dragon Zun belongs to furnishings. Zun is an instrument for holding wine in ancient times. China is a dragon culture, with dragon as the leader. The design of the base is inspired by the base of the Monument to the People's Heroes. The upper part is surrounded by four dragons. There are beads on the four corners of the upper part of the base. "Four dragons playing with the beads" means good luck and dignity.
Pearl bottle. Inspired by the shape of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower TV Tower in Shanghai, this work is elegant and elegant, and the bottle shape is smooth and beautiful. The round shape favored by the oriental nation is selected as the main body, and the biggest feature is that the huge sphere is held high. It has created an artistic conception that gives people unlimited reverie, and achieved the perfect unity of modern technology and oriental culture.
Straight mouth bottle. The beauty is simplicity, and the lines are mellow and dignified. The upper part is like a slender neck of a beauty, and the lower part is complete and stable. Moral: Integrity is the foundation of life.
Haibao. It is the mascot of the World Expo.
At the beginning of 2010, in order to welcome the Shanghai World Expo, the Luwan District Party Committee and the District Government of Shanghai introduced five famous kilns and eight kiln systems in China to Luwan to set up a master studio for them. After Xu Chaoxing, the Chinese master of arts and crafts, first settled in Luwan, Shanghai, Ru kiln master Li Tinghuai followed suit. On the morning of January 16, 2010, we specially inspected the five famous kiln studios and listened to the six minute special report of the founder. Subsequently, the Shanghai Municipal Government allocated 1.63 million yuan to name the five famous kiln studios as the authorized product stores for the Shanghai World Expo.
